Nick Thickins has over 16 years’ experience in the high tech industry in a variety of sales, technical marketing, operations and finance roles. Prior to forming SyAM Software, he was one of the founders of the US Operation for Eurologic and helped to grow it from $17m to $270m in revenue. Previous to this he was the Vice President of Operations for Cyberstorage Systems, Inc. and a key member of the team that grew sales from $1M to over $18M in less than 24 months. Mr. Thickins moved to the United Stated while he was with Alloy Computer Products where he held the position of Financial Controller for the UK operations, and later served as the Director of Operations for the US facility.
Robert Tamburino has over 25 years’ in qualification and support of hardware and software technology. Mr. Tamburino has held SQA Management positions at Lucent Technologies and SQA Engineering positions at Ascend Comm., Cascade Communications and Digital Equipment Corporation. Mr. Tamburino holds an MS in Information Technology Management and a BS from Franklin Pierce College.
Jose Gonzalez, CPA, has advised SyAM Software since its inception in 2003. He is a Director and Assistant Controller for Private Healthcare Systems and previously served as Controller of CyberStorage Systems Corporation. At Cyberstorage he was instrumental in completing the sale of the company to Storage Computer Corporation. Mr. Gonzalez was awarded his B.S. degree in accounting from Plymouth State College (Summa Cum Laude) and has his M.S. in taxation from Bentley College.
Bitan Basu has over 22 years of experience in Sales, Marketing and Business Development with various key roles in the Senior level for Hardware and Software Companies. He has held Management positions in Signotron India Pvt. Ltd. and developed OEM Business and Encryption project deals with the major customers. Mr. Bitan Basu developed Volume Software License Business for SANtools Inc. and LC Technology Inc. selling to the OEMs in India. He also held key Marketing and Sales roles in Vedika Software Pvt. Ltd and HCL Frontline Ltd.
Michael Hoffmann has over 31 years of Sales and Marketing experience in a variety of senior level roles for Intel, Amdahl/Fujitsu, Softlab (a BMW subsidiary), Nixdorf and other software and hardware companies throughout Europe. Mr. Hoffman also developed key business initiatives at Amdal and Softlab and others, enabling these companies to achieve robust market penetration and retention of new customers throughout EMEA.
