SyAM Software and Lifeboat Distribution Ink Software Distribution Agreement Covering the Americas

Lifeboat's Software-Only Distribution Model Will Aid SyAM Software's Efforts At Deeper Penetration of the North, Central, and South American Markets.

SyAM Software is announcing publicly today a new agreement with Lifeboat Distribution, the recognized leader in the distribution of technical software. The agreement will provide for sales and distribution of SyAM Software's products throughout North, Central, and South America. The agreement will also provide resellers in these regions an expedited process for fulfilling customer demand and processing payments and software license keys.

SyAM Software completed a global distribution agreement with IntelTM earlier in the year. The agreement bundles SyAM Software's Desktop Monitor product with a wide selection of Intel desktop products. A no-cost version of the software is available to end-users, offering limited functionality. However, a full-featured version is also shipped and can be accessed once payments are received and the software keys have been processed through local resellers. The sale and processing of license keys is a critical component in the financial success of SyAM Software.

"This is a major reason that the Lifeboat relationship is very important to us," states Mr. Regan. "We are already getting the product to market. However, resellers need a place to go to process payments and license keys once their customers approach them about Desktop Monitor. We are in the software development and marketing business, not the reseller management business.
